| To all Republican Town, City and Ward Chairmen, Committee members and Activists: |

| The keyword for Republicans in Massachusetts is OPTIMISM. The good news for the Republicans is the new Democratic governor is too liberal for the legislature. He is such a rookie, the Democrats have sent professional handlers to take care of him. The Democratic legislature is worried that their taxing and spending are driving citizens away from our state. |
|
| Grassroot action is what we need now and grassroot action is the core mission of the AMRC. I urge all two hundred and twenty-five city, town and ward committee chairmen, members and activists to join the AMRC today and help us return Massachusetts to a two-party government. |
|
| Remember, Massachusetts voted for Reagan twice and for Republican governors four times in a row. |
